Betty Jean McAlister Davis, age 89, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022. Born June 14, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Charles D. And Annie Mae McNeely McAlister. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by 8 siblings and a son, Johnny Davis. She was a charter member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Betty is survived by her son, Jimmy Davis (Suzi) of Shelby, NC, brother John McAlister (Gloria) and a sister Ruby Harper. Betty is also survived by her granddaughter Sierra Drewery (Casey), and a great grandson, Josiah Drewery.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2022 at Cleveland Memorial Park with Rev. Bo Wagner officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. The family would like to extend a special thanks for the love and care provided by, Espy McAlister and John and Gloria McAlister.
