Betty Jean Taylor Mobley

SHELBY- Betty Jean Taylor Mobley, 86, passed away Thursday April 30, 2015 at Kings Mountain Hospice House with her loving family by her side. A native of Lancaster, SC she was born December 21, 1928, daughter of the late Walter and Vinnie Hollis Taylor.

PRECEDED: in addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband George Mobley; one daughter Sandra Sinclair.

SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, Roger Taylor and girlfriend Leanne Kennedy of Shelby, three daughters, Deborah Bruce and husband Danny, Tammie Ramsey and husband Darrell all of Kings Mountain, and Denise Whisnant and husband Craig of Shelby; she loved and cherished her 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

SERVICES: A celebration of life service will be held Saturday at 5:00 pm at Shelby First Church of the Nazarene.

VISITATION: The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service at the church.

CLERGY: Rev. Tony Rayfield.

BURIAL: a graveside service will be held at Chester Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
