Betty Jean Turner Green
 Mrs. Betty Jean Turner Green, 78, of 1308 E Stagecoach Trail passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at her home.

Born on March 11, 1934 in Calhoun County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Mattie Eljean Turner McMillian.  Mrs. Green was a member of Wallace Grove Baptist Church and retired as a keypunch operator from Carolina Freight.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Yates Alvin Green; daughters, Shelly Blalock of Poulan, Georgia, Geneva Maners and husband Joel of Denver, Letitia Willis and husband Gene of Vale and Myra Clark of Lawndale; brothers, Thomas Turner and wife Ann of Bruchkobel, Germany and Edward Turner and wife Sue of Sylvester, Georgia; grandchildren, Pam Marshall, Wendy Blalock, Todd Maners and wife Lindsy, Jason Maners and wife LaBranda, Thad Clark and wife Crystal, Robbie Willis and Randi Jean St. Piere; and great grandchildren, Robert Etheredge, Christopher Etheredge, Amanda Etheredge , Jennifer Etheredge, Branson Maners, Ava Clark, Shane Willis and Tucker Willis.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 pm Thursday at Stamey Funeral Home in Fallston.  A guest register is available at www.stameyfuneralhome.com.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel in Fallston with Rev. Jackie Price and Rev. Mack Hyder officiating.  Burial will follow at Wallace Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Shelby.
