Mrs. Beulah Ann Griffin, 70, of 522 Lee Drive, Shelby, NC passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Services were held at Faith Baptist Church, Shelby, NC. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Thomas and Lydia Oaks Thomas; 2 brothers, Charlie and Snook Thomas; and 3 sisters, Frankie Thomas, Evie Jane Thomas and Elizabeth Mathis.
She is survived by her husband, Marshall Griffin of the home; 3 sons, Thomas Griffin and wife Tammy, and Gordon Griffin and wife Claudette, all of Shelby, and Jimmy Griffin and wife Brenda of Statesville, NC; 1 daughter, Lydia Griffin and her fiancé Roger Goode of the home; 2 brothers, John and Gordon Griffin of Hickory, NC; 1 sister, Virginia Bailes of Hickory, NC; 9 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
