| Bible Study: Can Two Walk Together? |

Can two walk together? The Bible says they can only if they agree. Keep in mind, that can be a plus or a minus answer. Are you walking together to agree with your Lord and Savior or to agree with worldliness? After you come to the age of accountability, there can only be one answer if you are to be a child of God. That is where good teaching and preaching comes in from a good Bible like the KJV Red Letter Edition. The red letter words are spoken by Jesus Himself. If you follow the teachings of Jesus from the words He actually spoke, they will lead you down the paths of righteousness for His name sake.
It is up to each of us to prayerfully study the Bible. Some say they can’t understand. That’s why you should pray first and ask Jesus to open your mind and your heart to hear and absorb the message he has for you. In a good KJV Bible, I find all the answers that pertain to me living for my Savior.
Jesus often spoke to His disciples in parables so that they could relate to it. It helped them to understand and it can also help us to understand. It takes more than education to understand the Bible. You need to have the right relationship with God. I once had the Dean of a college tell me that he just could not understand parables. So, you see it doesn’t come with education. When people don’t understand parables, then try to teach them, they teach all kind of wrongs. I heard one parable spoken three different ways. Then the preacher gets up and says that God was the prodigal son. So, you see why it is important to have a good study Bible and to have the right relationship with the Lord.
Keep in mind that this is about your soul and where it will spend eternity. You get to say where your soul will live forever and the devil will get the first chance as soon as a child becomes of age. Make sure you know the truth. Make sure your children know the truth. Jesus is the only way!
Can two walk together? Absolutely! But the Bible says do not be unequally yoked. A Christian should not join up with a non-Christian. If both are a Christian, they can walk together in love and, where two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus, He is there amongst them. Two can also walk together as non-Christians, but they are headed for an eternity in Hell. Make sure your walk is with your Christian brothers and sisters and together you can let your light shine into a dark and lost world so that others may find their way.
