Bible Study: Do We Have A Choice?
Do we have a choice?  You better believe we do!  The only trouble is that some won’t make a choice.  They say that they’re getting along just fine.  Why seek a change?  A country preacher said “that is a fool speaking and really not knowing the worth of what is coming from their lips”.
Study the disciples.  One day Peter wanted them to build three tabernacles.  He said, “Let us build.  All together build.” The is the way a church should be built.  Each one give a hand, drive a nail, lay a brick, give an offering.  Everyone can do something and one thing that ALL can do is pray.  When the building is finished, that’s good.  Now, get to work and fill it up with living souls.  Remember, the building is just that....a building.  It’s the pews full of people that are born again Christians that make the church.
When you build that church building and you work to bring people in and you fill it up, you want to keep it full.  For a church to grow it must have good leaders and be backed with good saving Grace preaching.  There must be communication and cooperation between the members, the leaders and the pastor and a lot of praying going on.  A church can really move forward for the glory of God when it becomes a soul seeker, not wanting hell to grow bigger.
Do we have a choice?  Yes, we do!  Put on your good clean clothes.  Show the Lord that you care for His house and you’re not afraid to get on your knees in those good clean clothes and pray.  Pray for that church that you helped build, pray for the leaders and the pastor and all the people that make up the church.  Pray for the people that are not there.  Because just like we have a choice, they have a choice too.  Pray for them, witness to them, invite them to church and help them to make the Right One!  Thank God, we all have a choice, and the choice you make will determine whether you spend eternity in Heaven or in Hell!
