Bible Study: Freedom From Sin
Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things become new. Now, let’s see what we are talking about. We are not talking about you just believing that there is a God. We are now talking about a reborn saint of the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as God was in a person named Jesus of Nazareth, who paid the price for your sins to be forgiven, another part of the One who forgave you is in you. You are dead to sin, which means you cannot practice sin any longer. Paul, says, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:1-2. Romans 6:11 says likewise reckon ye yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Not one sin is permitted to enter Heaven, where everything is Holy. Some yet say they have to sin a little every day and live a Christian life. And at night say in a prayer, Lord forgive me of my sins. This is just putting into practice a mistaught life. Both are held responsible by a true and living God who hates that kind of life with Him. Live righteously and see Holy Ghost Baptism. That is what Jesus asked the Father to let you have after his death. Get out of the sinning life. All sin is of the devil and it is coming at you from all sides. Your Loving Saving Lord does expect you to resist the devil and avoid sin. He has the right to expect it out of you as you belong to Him. Your Soul is in your keeping, What will you do with it? Romans 6:14 says for sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law, but under grace. You are not bound to any one thing, not even sin. And you have to choose with your own mind the way you want to live. God First, the other man second, me third.  This is a life your Lord is proud of and He is waiting in Heaven for you.
