Bible Study: Just a Deep Thought
We have so many today preaching with no foundation for what they say. John 15:1, Jesus said “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.” Jesus does nothing without the Father’s consent. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away. Some just because they go to church say “I am a Christian”. Every branch on a tree must draw sap to live. If you have the right start Jesus purgeth you so you can bear much fruit. Jesus said abide in me and I in you. Jesus wants to be partners with  you. Then he says you can not bear fruit yourself, except you lift me up. Jesus says let’s work together and we can bear much fruit. Without me you can do nothing. John 15:7, Jesus says: “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John 15:8, Jesus says: “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” Jesus says to continue in my love, then speaks a commandment that you love one another, as I have love you. In John 15:13 Jesus says: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Brings back memories of World War II, when this did happen. John 15:15 says: “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” John 15:19 “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” Today there are churches close by that never get to hear of Holy Ghost Baptism, which is, a deeper walk with God, Sometime after you have been reborn into the Christian way of life. If you don’t get to hear any Holy Ghost preaching for which there is no substitute, it is best you study from a Red Letter Bible and ask the Saviour to help you and he will. You will have to have been saved before he will grant you Holy Ghost  Baptism, never before you are saved.
