Bible Study: Romans 1:20-32
Continuing in Romans 1:20- At the beginning, no sun, no moon, no galaxies; now we can see them. With God’s eternal Godhead he brought them into view to be used as rulers over night and day.
Vs. 21- Paul says: “when they knew God, they did not glorify him as God, neither were thankful of him, but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened.” Let’s remember that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart after he hardened it himself.
Vs. 22- Paul says “professing themselves to be wise, smarter than God, they made themselves a god. They became fools.”
Vs. 23- “Changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man,” (man has forever wanted to see something he can worship) “and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.” (All going out, nothing coming in).
Vs. 24- “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:”
Vs. 25- “Who changed the truth of God into a lie.” We have had this going on for years, people taking a true authentic bible and changing it to suit their beliefs. And then not being about to explain the meaning, they make something up. They even change the words of our Saviour, trying to get people into heaven and skip being born again. That is what Jesus said in John 3:3  “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” The truth is our God will let you choose.
Vs. 27- Have people not heard about Sodom and the other three cities that were destroyed? We are told by a good bible that the fire is still burning.
Vs 29-30- Covers just about every sin that man can bring on himself. And because they did not want any of God, notice who is in charge. He turns their mind to reprobate (meaning disapprove, despise, void of understanding or judgement). I notice as I go through the bible that our God is always in control. When we want our way, and not his, we become a puppet on a string and he has the last say, and oh how it hurts.
Vs. 31-31- Who knowing the judgment of God (meaning that they knew better all the time they were doing such things. I heard a Sunday School teacher say “With all the teaching in churches, radio and T.V., there is no excuse for Hell to enlarge itself everyday”, and I agree.
