Bible Study: Salvation
Not long ago, I was talking to someone about being Saved-Reborn. I asked, do you confess Jesus as your Lord? The person said yes. I told that person, you have Salvation, hold on to it because as Paul brings out in his writings...your confession will bring you up out of the grave into heaven. Once you are saved, you must confess and tell others about what Jesus has done for you.
Why are you asked to confess Jesus as your Savior? Jesus says that if you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you.
The word ASHAMED is used 21 books of a good Bible. TRUTH is used in 32 books of a good Bible.
Each time you tell the truth, even if it is on yourself, you should not be ashamed. All Christians that have been redeemed from sin should be living a life that both you and your Saviour are proud of. If you have crossed the line and never asked for forgiveness, you are out of fellowship with your Saviour. You must confess your sins from your heart to your Saviour to be forgiven. Jesus knows if this is just lip service or from the heart service.
Some preachers will not mention Salvation. They say, you just believe a little and you will go to Heaven. I said to them, don’t forget what the Bible says about that. The Devil believed and trembled.
A minister said to me recently, that we have too many new Bibles coming out. I had to agree with him because they don’t have a Rock Foundation, Only someones interpretation that suits what he likes to hear from the pulpit of his church.
Now that we are on the subject, let me say that worshiping with Jesus as your Lord is not just a religion. It is a Love Feast. He loved you first, so much that He died on the Cross so as to redeem, FORGIVE you of your sins, if you ask from the heart. He loved you First. Nothing else can do this for you. Enough said. Please, don’t be foolish.
