Bible Study: Sin Is Death To God
True preaching is backed up by Jesus and His cross.  Lullabye preaching, He cares nothing about.  He was willing to bear the cross so all could be with Him, in His Spirit and sanctified by the Father with His stamp of approval.  But we must accept His gift of salvation.  Jesus told Nicodemus, “you must be born again”.  Nicodemus did not understand how he could go into his mother’s womb and be born all over again.  Jesus explained that a man has to be born again, spiritually, or he cannot see the kingdom of Heaven.  There has to be a change by Jesus and God the Father for you to have this Good Spirit in you.
You can never live good enough or do good enough to get to Heaven.  It must be willed to you by the One who, that day on Golgotha Hill, gave His blood and life so that you could be in Heaven with Him for Eternity.  Yes, He loved YOU that much!  Sin brought on mortal man’s death, and only the Savior of all mankind can give you the Spirit to conquer death and one day let Him call you home where you will live forever.  We all have to die.  It’s comforting to know that when your time comes, you can go home to Heaven if the way is clear and you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, believing that he died on the cross and rose again three days later.  He now sits on the right hand of the Father in Heaven where all His saints will be.  No angel will have to come and get you.  With the risen spirit of God in you, no angel is needed.  You can come forth as Jesus did,
God spoke of Jesus one day and said, “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.”  When we leave this earth, we want Him to look at us and say, “this is my holy saint in whom I am well pleased.”   There is no time to play around with your soul.  Get on board!  The price is already paid.  You just have to confess Jesus as your Lord to the public and tell what your Savior has done for you.  Let us never forget what Jesus said one day; “verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”  Be willing to be still and listen to the calling of Jesus.  Today is a good time to start because you are not guaranteed tomorrow.
