| Bible Study: The Elements Shall Melt |

I believe that if you were around Apostle Peter, he would be asking you questions. There is no better person to ask a question, than Jesus. In 2 Peter 3:10, He writes, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” Peter knew nothing about atomic power as we have today. The day of the Lord is going to happen. God used water once to overcome the earth. The next time, the earth itself will be gone and a new Heaven and a new earth will come into being. You must make preparations the short time that you breathe on this earth NOW. You won’t get a second chance. What kind of person should you be now? You should be reborn, saved and living a Holy life here on earth NOW. Try to the best of your ability to match your life with the life of your Savior when He was here on earth. Don’t just act, Live It. By doing as He did, I can assure you that He will add to your work. I have watched it happen many times with some who were timid. Soon that was a thing of the past. Peter, likewise was the same until Jesus His Lord was crucified and rose and then he was straight and pure and solid as gold. Seven times. Peter also said, in 2 Peter 3:18 “ But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” That is what he had to do. Keep in mind that Peter was with Jesus man of his days here on earth. Peter believed Jesus. Do you?
