Bible Study: The Lord Will Grant Foolishness
The Lord will grant foolishness, but no blessings will come.  Because every one of us is born under the sentence of death, our Savior will intercede for us many times as a child.  He will give us a chance to accept Him as our Savior and tell others what has happened between us and our Lord.  When we are reborn as a child of God, He expects us to drop the foolishness and get in the right boat; praying and rowing towards Heaven.
I turn in my Bible and read that foolishness cannot hide my sins from God.  Nothing can!  Then I read that the mouths of fools feed on foolishness.  I also find that foolishness is bound in the heart of a child, but the rod of correction will drive it far from him.  So, let’s get down to the truth...foolishness is a sin and the scorner is an abomination to men.  Our Bible teaches us that evil thoughts, adultery, fornication, murder, theft, covetousness...all these things come from within and defile the man.  When we try to do things our way, each time an unsaved person dies, Hell has to enlarge to accept him.  Hell is growing bigger and bigger.
I want to say to every preacher and teacher reading this, that you must think about what you say and first ask your Savior if He is pleased with what you want to say.  Is it heart cleansing?  Will it make a person give a second thought to how he or she is living?  Is your Savior’s love behind what you say?  Is God the driving force behind it, driving it home in the heart of the listener?  Is it spoken with truth and sincerity so that the listener wants to take it home and think about it some more.  I often ask families to take what is said home with them and discuss it at the dinner table.  As I was filling up my gas tank one day, I had a man holler across the pumps and tell me that his family was still discussing what I said.  That was three weeks later!  That’s great!  Do not hesitate to repeat over and over something that you find important...something that may save a soul from hell.  You might say that is not your way, that it’s too hard to do.  Well, I’m sure glad that Jesus didn’t think it was too hard to die on that cross for you. You better believe it was hard. It was very hard! Yet, all he asks of us is that we tell someone else that He died for them too.  Help someone else learn about the greatest gift they could ever receive, and all they have to do is accept it!  Thank you, Jesus!
