Bible Study: What a Man Abraham
If you would study Galatians 1:8, “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” Paul, the writer, puts an oath on himself about his writing. If any preacher is preaching from any other bible except the KJV Red Letter Edition, it is best that you don’t take this oath on yourself. Paul had just spent three or four years in Arabia learning the truths and what to preach. He knew that all reborn souls are in the same position as Abraham when he was Abram. Sinner to God, then changed to Abraham and accounted righteous. That is how we are linked to Abraham when we are saved-born again, we are Christian under Jesus Christ. We have the same Spirit as Abraham got in his changed of name. The Reborn were first called Christians in Antioch, because they could see a great change in those that testified to being reborn or saved. “When he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” Acts 11:26.
They were granted Salvation to go to Heaven. They could drop Moses’ Law, and hold on to the Ten Commandments, which  Our Savior will never do away with. Look at them as a guide to grow up with. In the book of Jonah, 1-5, it tells that every man prayed to his God, and a man named Jonah went down into the bottom of the ship and went to sleep. Then they gambled and Jonah was found guilty. Regardless of how many different gods they prayed to, the one and only true and living God will take care of his own. The only true God will take care of us.
You can have true Righteousness today because the One is Holy that passes out true righteousness. Now ask yourself, is your righteousness true? Or does your bible leave out Righteous and just say right living? No, don’t go to sleep without getting this straight in your heart.
