| Bible Study: What Is Jesus As Lord Doing Now |

Jesus as Lord is gathering His Saints to teach and preach to others the right and only way to get to Him and God the Father in Heaven. First, He wants you to be saved by His Holy Spirit. When you confess what He has done for you, He grants you salvation. This is the start of becoming a good teacher of the Word. Listen to what the Bible is talking about when you read it. Ask God for understanding. With His help, you can teach others the truth. You begin to see all things about both God and Jesus. The ones who believed were called truthmakers. Read Brother Paul’s writings. Believers were not called Christians until Antioch. When you accept the name Christian in truth, you receive God’s forgiveness. He died on the cross, so that we could receive salvation. After we have received this free gift, we do our best to live our lives as Jesus would. We live to represent Him. We will be called in our Christian lives to make many decisions. We will do your best to make the same decisions that Jesus would. This is impossible in our own strength, but with the Bible’s help, prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit, we are equipped to live a changed and brand new life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” We can achieve much if we will pray and ask God for His help. He wants us to trust and obey Him through the scriptures. Get a good King James, red letter Bible to study. If by chance you come across something different than what you have heard, stick with your KJV Bible. Never argue about the Word of God. Just present what the truth says. This writer has had to do this many times.
