Bible Study: Who do we call on when in trouble?
If you have to pause and wait to answer the Question, you are in trouble with satan. Who is he? He is your enemy and has been after you ever since you drew your first breath. If it were not for  someone who loves you, and is praying for you, satan could grab you and run off with you as a fox can grab a chicken and run off with it. Your maker has set up guard rails to help until you come to the age of being accountable for our well being with Him. If for some reason at birth, something did happen, and we can not gain this responsibility, HIS GRACE-LOVE-takes care of that. When our Lord was on earth with the disciples He often prayed for them as we should do for each other. In Luke 22:31, Jesus said, “Simon” so there would be no mistake in who he was talking to. Our Lord said again, “Simon, Behold - Stand Up, Take Notice To What I Say.” Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat, but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Simon Peter then will have a deep depth with His Lord. Peter and the rest of the disciples will one day hear their Lord say you are not of the world. All who believed in Him are converted. Then after Jesus gives His life on a wicked cross each will receive Holy Ghost Baptism. At Pentecost, Acts Chapter 2 - Read it now if you can. Yes conversion is wonderful and the best is yet to come. Both Jesus and God the Father got in on that with agreement.  Why the word Trinity is not in a real Bible, all agree as one. All born again Christians should work daily for His Savior. Jesus Himself said be in prayer and that way you keep from entering into temptation. You witness daily and you will grow stronger in the true admiration of your Savior. Just remember all callings are without repentence. How and what does the Father see in you? He is searching for preachers and teachers that are loyal to the cause. Age doesn’t seem to bear much on the calling. Holding power and loyalty to the cause is what He is looking for. I  heard a nine year old boy in Gastonia, Sonny Boy Allen. He used the Bible and stayed away from the entertainment stories. Good delivery too. One thing I have noticed, the most trusted preachers are not picked by age or education. They let the Lord train them and teach them. When He picks them, he takes responsbility, and that is good and right. Then the Holy Ghost has a chance to step in, same as Jesus did when He was down here on earth.
