| Bible Study: Why Do We Have To Repent? |

Why do we have to repent? Simply because we are born into sin. When a person repents and turns to Jesus they are “born again”. Luke 15:10 says, “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” A celebration happens in Heaven when someone is reborn. A true and living God set this up. No other religion in the whole wide world has this. It would be helpful for you to give some thought to the wicked cross that Jesus went to on that day at Golgotha. Consider what suffering that he went through. John 19:17 -18 says, “And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha. Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.” Jesus knew no sin and was guilty of nothing. Jesus paid the price for our sins so that we can be free to get into Heaven. Acts 4:12 says, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Jesus, our Lord calls us to do work here on earth until God says it is finished. Be ready to teach or preach the true word of God. Mark 16:15 says, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
