Billie "Goat" Wayne Towery, 56, of 8141 Wards Gap Rd, Connelly Springs,
died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Grace Hospital in Morganton.
Mr. Towery was born in Burke County on February 25, 1955, to the late John
Henry Towery and Annie Maude Smith Towery. He was the owner and operator of
Knob Wheel Alignment.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah
Turner Towery.
He is survived by two daughters, Kelly Towery of Morganton and Joanie Towery
of Connelly Springs; stepson, Eric Turner of Lawndale; two grandchildren,
Lane Willis and Paden Costner; three brothers, Fred Towery of Connelly
Springs, Pinkney Towery of Connelly Springs, and Calvin Towery of Connelly
Springs; and three sisters, Reba Towery Garland of Morganton, Jean Towery of
Connelly Springs, and Muriel Towery Tallent of Lawndale.
Visitation, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Thursday, Carpenters Grove Baptist Church,
Lawndale. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes before the
service.
