Billy Randolph "Randy" Biggers

Billy Randolph "Randy" Biggers, age 53, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain. Born in Cleveland County on February 2, 1962, he was the son of Mary Maxine Hoyle Biggers of Kings Mountain and the late Billy Lowery Biggers. Billy was an active member of El Bethel United Methodist Church. Billy worked for a number of years at Curtis Wright. He was a member and former President of the New Hearts Club, which he joined in 2003 after receiving his heart transplant. Billy loved sports, politics, watching TV, and Church. In addition to his father, Billy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Minor and Lochie Biggers and maternal grandparents, L. V. and Nettie Hoyle.

In addition to his mother, Billy is survived by a son, Christopher L. Biggers and wife Heather of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Lauren Gabrielle Biggers of Kings Mountain; a sister, Susan Whisnant and husband John of Shelby; a grandson, Weston Biggers; and two nephews, Will Whisnant and Noah Whisnant.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday July 23, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at El Bethel United Methodist Church in Kings Mountain with Rev. Julie Roberts and Rev. Tom Jolley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm in the fellowship hall.
