Mr. Billy Ray Green, Sr., 59, of 1252 Cherryville Hwy., Cherryville, NC passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Services were held at Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church, Cherryville, NC. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Cherryville.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, John H. Green, Sr. and Clara Morrison Green.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jennings Green of the home; 1 son, Billy Ray Green, Jr. of Iron Station; 1 daughter, Marie Green Watson of Mt. Holly; 1 brother, John H. Green, Jr. of Cherryville; 2 sisters, Ann Craft of Cherryville and Margaret Johnson of Lincolnton; and 5 grandchildren.
