Billy Ray Wright, 64, passed away July 10, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Wright was born August 23, 1949 in Cleveland County.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Cherryville and was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Baldor Electric.
He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Wright Sr.
He is survived by wife of 38 years, Linda Wright; children, James Wright and wife Joella of Bessemer City, John Wright and wife Danielle of Shelby, Donna Bowles and husband Gilbert of Shelby ; mother, Ruby Wright of Grover; step-daughter, Angela Russ and husband Richard of Shelby; brothers, James Wright Jr. of Grover, Steven Wright and wife Maria of Germany; sisters, Betty McKee and husband Gene of Shelby, Mary Morrison of Belwood; grandchildren, Dusty Price, Joey Wright, Wesley Bowles, Faythe Bowles, Jacob Wright, Cameron Wright and Seth Finney.
Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Cleveland Funeral Services
Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2014 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel
