Bobbie Ann Mauney, age 79, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. She was born December 15, 1936 in Lincoln County to the late Thomas Seyborn and Sarah Irene Yount Mauney. She worked in manufacturing and was retired from Homelite John Deere. Bobbie was known for her happy, outgoing personality. She loved flowers and people and would do anything for anybody.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Joe Lake Collins and niece, Robin Black.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise Carpenter; grandson, Evan Carpenter and wife, Jessica; great-grandchild, Evie-James Carpenter; sisters, Libby Beal and family, Fran Sanford and family, and Sybil Black and family.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
