Bobbie Nash Chastain of Shelby, NC passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011.
Bobbie Nash Chastain was born in Union County on August 12, 1932 to the late
Lex and Emma Nash. She was a graduate of Wingate College and a retired case
manager from the Department of Social Services.
In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by two sisters:
Eileen Traywick, Marshville, NC and Marilyn Cline of Winston Salem, NC and
three brothers: Joe Nash, Marshville, NC, Bill Nash, Marshville, NC and
Jack Nash, Hamlet, NC.
Bobbie is survived by Carl Chastain, her son Chad Chastain and wife, Gloria
and grandson, Jackson Chastain, all of Shelby. She is also survived by two
sisters Libby Williams of Lake Hickory, NC and Patsy Griffin of Norwood, NC.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Friday, July 8, 2011 at Kadesh
United Methodist Church in Belwood, NC.
Funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM, Friday, July 8, 2011 at Kadesh
United Methodist Church.
