Mr. Bobby Daniel Hubbard, 72, of Shelby, NC, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010. Graveside Services was held in Sunset Cemetery.

Mr. Hubbard served our country in the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ophelia White Hubbard; his parents, Horace Deloach Hubbard and Elizabeth Black Hubbard; and 1 son, Terry Hubbard.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Sherry Edwards and husband Tim of Shelby; 1 son, Jerry Hubbard of Shelby; 1 step-daughter, Barbara Lane of Shelby; 2 brothers, Junior Hubbard of Warner Robins, Ga., and Gene Hubbard of Granite Falls, SC; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
