Bobby Dean Ramsey, 68, Lawndale, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby .

Born in Cleveland County, on December 17, 1952, he was a son of the late Robert Hubert Ramsey and Ferne Farris Ramsey. He was retired from FedEx as a long haul truck drive and attended Double Shoals Baptist Church. Bobby was also a member of the Amateur Radio Club.

In addition to his parents she was preceded in death by his daughter Angel Ramsey.

He is survived by two sons, Billy Ramsey (Cynthia) of Shelby and Scottie Ramsey (Brandy) of Lawndale; two brothers, Charles Ramsey (Mitzi) of Fallston, Tommy Ramsey (Patty) of Belwood; two sisters, Sarah Earwood (Randy) of Lawndale and Evon Davis (David Tessneer) of Lawndale; a special friend, Pat Navey of Gastonia; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 11:00AM to 12:00 Noon at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
