Bobby Gene Bradley, Sr., age 58, of Spindale, NC, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013.
Born June 21, 1955 in Newark, NJ, he was a son of the late James Bradley and Inez Adams Bradley who resides in Rutherford County. He worked in textiles most of his life and was a Baptist. He enjoyed dirt track racing, fishing, yard work and hunting. Bobby loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Avant; brother, Jimmy Bradley and mother-in-law, Geneva Martin.
Besides his mother, survivors include his wife, of thirty-four years, Susan Bradley; daughter, Amy Bradley of Spindale; two sons, Bobby Gene Bradley, Jr. and wife, Amber of Cliffside and Jesse Lee Bradley and wife, Kim of Rutherfordton; three brothers, Johnny Bradley, James Bradley and Thomas Sims; five sisters, Judy Bradley, Patsy Reid, Linda Sobleski, Delores Crotts and Debbie Bradley. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Robert Harris and Mr. Mike Ingle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 28043 to help defray funeral costs.
