Mr. Bobby Hartgrove, 60, of 803 Craig Place in Shelby NC died Sunday July 14 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby NC. He was born on March 11, 1953 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Harry Lee and Ida Bell Blair Hartgrove.

He was formerly employed with Hickory Manufacturing before his health declined.  His hobbies included karate, playing the guitar and collecting cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Mattie Sue Hartgrove Deal, Harry Lee Hartgrove, Jr., Minnie Bell Hartgrove, Ruth Hartgrove, Willie Hartgrove, Charlie Hartgrove and Geraldine Hartgrove.

He is survived by a sister, Mae Frances Bess; four brothers, Robert “String Bean” Hargrove (Revenia), Kenneth Hartgrove, Roger Hartgrove (Linda) all of Shelby; special nieces and nephew, Patricia Dawkins and Travis Robbs both of the home and Trena Pryor (Anthony) of Shelby; one aunt, Lula Mae Roberts of Grover, NC and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 3:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Mortuary Chapel with Rev.
