Bobby Hugh Ezell

CHESNEE- Bobby Hugh Ezell, 80, loving husband to Mary Gail McDaniel Ezell, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 9, 2015 at his residence.

Born November 30, 1934 in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Charles Alvin Ezell and Ada Jean Hughey Ezell. Mr. Ezell was retired from Flowers Bakery, a member of the Teamsters and formerly employed for 10 year with Vic Bailey as a car deliver. He was a member of Chesnee First Baptist Church where he was a greeter, a member of the Scott Jolley Sunday School Class and proudly served our country in the United States Army.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Dr. Terry Ezell and wife Belinda of Rock Hill, Charles Anthony "Tony" Ezell and wife Amy of Austin, TX; two daughters, Teresa Dale Ezell and Tammy Gail Ezell both of Chesnee; three sisters, Betty Jo Hammett, Glennis Martin and Sue Robbins all of Boiling Springs; eight grandchildren, Joshua Greene, Justin Greene, Lenzie Ezell, Jake Ezell, Madeline Ezell, Luke Ezell, Seth Ezell, Noah Ezell and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Chesnee First Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Grogan and Dr. Troy Gregg officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the church.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Lindsey McCoy, Gerri Drake and a very special brother-in-law, William "Bill" McDaniel for all their love and care shown to Mr. Ezell during his illness.

Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 1053 Center Street, West Columbia, SC 29169.
