Mr. Bobby Lee Alexander 64, of 137 Pete Mauney Rd., Lawndale, NC passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston. Burial followed in Kadish United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Alexander served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ruth Alexander; and 1 sister, Bonnie Gates.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Janet Huss Alexander; 1 son, Tim Alexander and wife Michelle; 1 grandson; 1 brother, J.D. Alexander; 5 sisters, Beulah Self, Della Williams, Louise Self, Carolyn Ward and Brenda Houser; special extended family, 1 sister-in-law, Helan Sain and husband Harry; 3 nieces; 1 great-niece; 3 great-nephews; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Spangler Branch Library, 112 Piedmont Drive, Lawndale, NC 28090; or to: Hospice Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150.
