GASTONIA - Mr. Bobby Lee Elmore, 81, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Johnny Broadus and Gladys Johnson Elmore. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Austin Mack Elmore; two sisters, Nellie Sue Cartee and Betty Lou Elmore.

He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Thompson of Lawndale and Anita Powell of Shelby; three sons, Ronnie Lee Elmore of Lincolnton, Ronald Elmore of Lincolnton and Gary Elmore of Sugarhill; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy Elmore of Shelby; three sisters, Joanne Nalley of Casar, Janice Thompson of Cherryville and Elaine Elmore of Shelby.

A Memorial Service will be held at Community Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the Church.
