Mr. Bobby Miller, age 68, passed away on September 7, 2013 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Early Miller, Jr. and Beulah Mae Matthew; one son, Alphonzo Miller; one brother, Jim Miller and one sister, Dorothy Miller Love.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharron Crocker and LaToya Cole (Steven) of CLT; one step-daughter, Sherry Jordan; two step-sons, Jerry Jordan and Rodney Jordan; one sister, Earnestine McGee (Ben), Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Jeffrey Currence, John Currence, Victoria Crocker, Curtis Walker, Destiny Barrett, Maya Ingram, Zachary Cole, Asia Parker, Malasha Parker, Shawntrell Jordan, Isiah Brown, Walter Mack Jordan, Hudson Reid Jordan and Chaquita Sims; five special cousins, Sara Ager, Glenda Brown, Ollie Willis, Valentina Alexander and Sandy Davis.
Mr. Miller served in the United States Army for 24 years.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Shiloh AME Zion Church in Grover.
