| Mr. Bobby Ray Pruitt, 69, of Grover, passed away June 20, 2012. Services were held at Come Memorial Chapel of Carpenter's Funeral Home, Cherryville. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park.
Mr. Pruitt serviced our country in the United States Army in the Viet Nam Era.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Cletus Pruett, Sr. and Mayzelle Smith Pruett; brother, James Cletus Pruitt and sister Lillie Sue Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Katie Beatrice Schronce Pruitt; two sons, Robert Pruitt and wife Misty, of Grover, Boyd Pruitt of Shelby; four daughters, Lisa Pruitt of Valdese, Crystal Pruitt of Lincolnton, Amanda Pruitt of Grover; five sisters, Beadie Self of Cherryville, Peggy Robinson of Cherryville, Vera Lowery of Grover, Mary Lou Dellinger of Crouse, and Levon Hoyle of Grover, and seven grandchildren.
