Bobby William Causby
Bobby William Causby, 72, of 105 McGinnis Street, left this world to go to his eternal home Friday, January 2, 2015 at his residence. A native of Cleveland County, he was born January 1, 1943, son of the late William “Jake” Harrison and Maggie Lee Carroll Causby. He was a good hearted man who loved his family. He was a man who was full of life and loved doing for others. He loved the outdoors and anything to do with the outdoors from whitewater rafting to cutting wood to having huge cookouts inviting anyone and everyone, the more the merrier. He was a simple man who wore his overalls every day. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

 

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Dean Causby, Roy Dean White, and David Causby; one sister, Ruth Brackett; two grandsons and one granddaughter. 

 

SURVIVORS: He is survived by his wife of 52 years Judy Bell Causby and a great granddaughter Karena Causby of the home; four daughters, Roxanne Wright of Kings Mountain, Tammy Ruyle of Denver, Bobbie Jo Causby of Kings Mountain, and Bobbie Ann Biddix of Clover, SC; one son, Marty Lockridge of Kings Mountain; two brothers, Richard Causby of Shelby and Pete Causby of Bellwood; five sisters, Doris Bridges of Shelby, Ruby Rector of Conley Springs, Inez Smith, Faye Martin, and Ann Ruyle all of Caser; two son-in-laws, Michael “Tony” Wright of Kings Mountain and Gary Ruyle of Caser; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. 

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service will be held Thursday 3pm at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.

 

INTERMENT: Burial will be at a later date and announced by the family at the family cemetery.

 

CLERGY: Rev. Greg Neely and Rev. Don McNeely will officiate.  

 

MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland county, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
