Bonnie Jean Hamrick, 78, of 209 East Lime Street, passed away on Monday, December 26th, 2022, at Cherokee Medical Center.

Born in Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Paul James and Omia Yelton Hamrick. She previously worked in textiles. She loved to sit on her porch and enjoyed her fur babies, Panda and Boo.

Ms. Hamrick is survived by her sons, Marvin Childers and William Lee Hamrick; her brother, William Hamrick (Sue) of Blacksburg; and his two sisters, Patricia Childers of Gaffney and Janice Childers of Blacksburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Edward Hamrick; her brothers, Johnny David Hamrick and Charles James Hamrick, and her sister, Lillie Ann Martin.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC.
