Bonnie Jean Kendrick

Bonnie Jean Kendrick, 97, passed away peacefully on July 22 at Hospice. Born in Osceola, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Ely and Jessie Driver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bob Kendrick and a daughter, Jean Driver Dixon.

Bonnie leaves behind her beloved family including son in law Cullen Dixon, daughters Merrie Carol Weedman (Nick), Laura “Itsy” Wells (Dale) and sons Robert Kendrick (Janet), Tommy Kendrick, and Danny Kendrick (Rhea Ann). 

 Grandchildren including Dana (Jason ) Austin, Charlie (Beth) Dixon, Bart (Debbie) Dixon, Melissa (Chris)Achtien, Sara (Tom) Carty, Amy (Alan) Balaran, Laura (Tim) Rucker, Justin (Patty ) Wells, Brad (Cortney) Kendrick, Michael (Kathleen) Kendrick, Carrie Kendrick. 

Great grandchildren include Aspen and Allie Austin, Katie Dixon, Emily Dixon, Lauren Wagner, Chris, Evan, and Katy Achtien, Kendall, Lindsey, Ethan and Cameron Carty, K.C. and Jessie Rucker, Molly Dicus, T. J. Kueter. 

The family would like to thank the staff at White Oak Manor and Hospice at Wendover both of Shelby, NC for their unbelievable care and comfort provided to Bonnie.

A memorial service to celebrate her life is planned in August in Arkansas. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Hospice Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
