Bonnie Lee Lyons DeHaas, 63 of Highway 11 West, Chesnee, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 6, 2015 at her residence.

Born September 19, 1951 in Erie, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Leon Edward Lyons and Marjorie Ellen Brine Lyons. She was employed with Greenville Hospital System Cancer Institute where she was a Medical Transcriptionist and attended Chesnee United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Scott DeHaas of Erie, PA; son, Jon Lyons of Chesnee; sister, Phyllis Knapp of Chesnee; grandchildren, Michael Lyons and Jesse James Lyons both of Chesnee; several special nieces and nephews and her beloved K-9 friend Bailey.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Chesnee United Methodist Church, 409 South Kentucky Ave. Chesnee, SC 29323. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
