Bonnie Rachel Lansing Quinn, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville.
Mrs. Quinn was born on April 5, 1923 in Gaston a daughter of the late Albert L. and Ocie Goodman Lansing. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Rachel had retired from Dora Industries as an Inspector.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Friel A. Quinn; daughter, Friela Lansing Quinn; and brothers, J.C. Lansing and Clyde Lansing.
Survivors include her daughter, Robin Q. Buschemeyer and husband, Bud, of Louisville, KY; grandson, Jay Buschemeyer of Louisville, KY; sister-in-law, Lecy Quinn of Cherryville; and several nieces and other relatives.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Carpenter’s Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Dr. Bill Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
