The Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland County is now holding enrollment for the 2012 Jack Schweppe Summer Day Camp. Open registration is being held weekdays from 2 PM to 7 PM at the Boys & Girls Club building, located at 412 West Sumter Street, directly behind the old Shelby Middle School building in Shelby. Parent Packets, which contain all materials and program information, are available during the Club’s regular After-School program hours. Registration is ongoing, space permitting, first come-first served.
The 2012 Summer Day Camp schedule offers three sessions, each spanning three weeks.
Day Camp starts Wednesday, June 13 and will run through Friday, August 17. Session One is Wednesday, June 13 through Tuesday, July 3. Session Two is Monday, July 9 through Friday, July 27. Session Three is Monday, July 30 through Friday, August 17. Campers may be registered for one, two or all three sessions.
Day Camp operates weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:30 in the evening with the program schedule varying daily. Campers participate in structured daily Club activities in which they are placed with children of like age. Lunches and snacks are provided.
The Jack Schweppe Summer Day Camp is open to all boys and girls, rising first graders through age 14. Ages 15 & 16 may also be registered campers should contact the Club office for additional details.
Financial Assistance is available with very affordable Day Camp fees based on a sliding scale according to income. Details on fees are available through the Boys & Girls Club office.
