Brenda Gail Stringfellow Sain, 65, of 109 Dale Lane in Lawndale, passed away Friday July 12, 2013 at Hospice at Wendover.
Born February 27, 1948 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late William Grady Stringfellow and Vernie Mae Wright Stringfellow. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of fifty years, John Dale Sain, three daughters & sons-in-law, Cindy & Stephen McMurry of Lawndale, Kim & Aaron Perlman of Granite Falls, and Melissa "Missy" & Eddie Kuykendall of Shelby, four sisters, Louise Gantt of North Wilksboro, Lib Prater of Patterson Springs, Betty Cook of Shelby, and Ruth Willis of Lawndale, ten grandchildren, Nathan, Dustin, & Zachary McMurry, Kailey & Jake Houck, Jade, Jonathan, Elijah, Rebekah, & Hannah Kuykendall, and one great grandson, Charlie McMurry.
Visitation will be at Stamey Funeral Home Sunday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM.
The funeral service will be at St. Peter's United Methodist Church 108 St. Peter's Church Rd. Lawndale, NC 28090. Monday at 3:00PM with the Revs. Kathy Earley, Donald Willis, and Eddie Kuykendall officiating. The body will be
placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
