Shelby - Brenda Joyce Wheat, age 55 passed away at Caromont Medical Center, Gastonia on June 18, 2016. Born on April 1, 1961 in Dalton, GA to the late JC and Jewel York Winters. Also predeceased by a sister, Judy Winters Ball; a brother, Clayton Winters of Dalton, GA and a nephew, Wesley Drewery.
Survivors include Carla Wheat of Ellenboro; Julia Wheat of Kings Mountain; son, Jayson Bell of Shelby, Candie Wilson of Gastonia; a sister, Faye Drewery (Roger) of Shelby; special friends, Gina Holt, Lisa Smith and Joyce Hensley; her puppy, Toby.
Brenda loved to read, listen to country music, was a very special lady with a beautiful smile and personality, she never met a stranger. She is loved my all and will be truly missed many.
A Service of Remembrance will be held Wednesday at 3:00 PM, at Shelby First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Tony Rayfield officiating.
Visitation one hour prior to the service.
