Mrs. Brenda Kennedy Bailey, 72, of 302 Borders Street, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 16th in Spartanburg SC.

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, she was the widow of Donald Bailey and daughter of the late Archibald Kennedy and Lillian Bernice Johnson Kennedy.

She loved spending time and talking with her family.

She was preceded in death by her sons; Dana and Todd Gilman; and brothers, James and Dennis Kennedy.

She is survived by her son; Edwin Gilman of Blacksburg, her daughters; Heidi Childers of Blacksburg, Candace Gilman (Greg Kinlaw) of Blacksburg, Julie Britt, (Special friend, Michael Helms of Tar Heel NC, Tara Moss (Robbie) of Blacksburg and Crystal Foley of Cameron NC.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 20th from 2pm until 3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Services will immediately follow at 3pm. Burial will be at a later date.
