She was born in Cleveland Co, NC to the late Miles Reid Smith and Virginia Lawson Smith. She was also preceded in death by son, Robert Smith. She was a member of New Buffalo Baptist Church, Grover, NC, She was employed as an instructor at Firestone, Kings Mtn. NC and a homemaker. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

VISITATION: Family will speak to friends immediately following the service in the sanctuary of the church other times at the home of the son, 805 Landing Street, Kings Mountain, NC.
