Gaffney, SC - - Brian Eugene Lanier, 52, of 435 Ford Road, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of Ronnie Lanier, Sr. of Gaffney and the late Peggy Ann Wisher Piercy. He was formerly employed by Cleveland-Yutaka Corporation, loved his family and fishing, and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his father, is a brother, Ronnie Wayne Lanier, Jr. (Tina) of Shelby; a niece, Hailey Lanier.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.
