Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report August 29th Edition
Kosa
The retirees form Kosa fished Lake Wylie last week, with John Black and Roger  McNeely picking up the win with a catch of 10.5. David O’Shields and Doug Sparrow finished second with 10.0. Ronnie Humphries had 7.12 and settled in third. Big bass of the day was a 3.7  largemouth brought in by Mack Wyatt. This week it is back to Lake Norman for the geezers.
Moss
Two weeks ago on the Thursday night bass tournaments at Moss Lake, there was 21 boats and Donald Bell captured the win with 8.95. Charles and Maverick Canipe had 8.89 and were a close second. Nathan White and Chris Ellis had 8.0 to settle in third. Brent and Elliott Green were fourth with 6.87 and fifth with 6.49 was Josh Johnson and Chris Tate. Last week, again 21 boats made the weekly trip. Tom Gavin and Chris Hoopaugh picked up the win with 8.66. Johnny Guffey and Tommy Chapman had 8.40 to take second. Matt Arey and Bryan Thrift were third with 8.35 followed by Ronnie and Jason Hinson with 7.93. Buddy and Michael Black rounded out the top five with 7.75. Big bass was a 3.81 largemouth brought in by Chet Beam and  Mitch McCracken.
Bass Casters
The Bass Casters fished their August event Saturday night/Sunday morning on Lake Hickory. Mark Swink brought in a limit totaling 16.11 and got the win. Brandon Scarborough had 12.6 and was second. Randy Scarborough had 11.3 and was third and was followed by fourth by Chris Hoopaugh with 10.6. Terry Knight had 8.2 and was fifth. Mark Swink had big bass of the night with a 4.14 largemouth. The Bass Casters will fish on September 29th at Lookout Shoals.
