Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report Nov. 18th edition
KOSA
The retirees of Kosa fished Lake Wylie last week. Tommy Wess and James Haynes, also known as the odd couple, got the win with 8.0. Mack Wyatt and Johnny Christianberry took second with 6.70, and they had big fish of the day with a 2.65. Finishing in third was John Black and Roger McNeilly. This week the retirees fish Lake Norman from 8am til 2pm.
Ryan Newman Benefit Tournament
Many local anglers are gearing up for the 5th annual Ryan Newman Foundation 5th Annual Bass Tournament on Lake Norman. The event will take off and weigh-in out of Blythe Landing in Cornelius NC. The event runs from 7am til 3 pm and is on December 11. For more info go to ryannewman.org.
J & J
Another event or should I say series of events that local anglers are gearing up for is the J & J Lake Norman Winter Trail. This event kicks off the weekend of December 4 & 5. Just a short reminder, this is a Saturday and a Sunday trail with dates of: Saturday-Dec. 4, 18, Jan. 1, 8, 15, 29. Sunday is: Dec. 5, 12, 26, Jan. 9, 23, Feb 6. The fishoff, which is a two day event, allowing anglers to fish either or both and take their best day, will be Feb 12 and 13. More info can be found at fishwithdj.com
Club News
The Cleveland County Bass Club  will fish this weekend on Lake Wateree with one event remaining after that. The Bass Casters will fish Stumpy Pond on the 28th. I would expect very good results from both given the time of year.
