Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report Nov. 24th edition
KOSA
The retirees from Kosa fished Lake Norman last week, and it seemed that fishing solo was the thing to do. Ronnie Humphries got the win with 7.75. He anchored that with a 3.70 largemouth that was big fish of the day. Tom Mayhew, also went solo and was second with 5.30. John Black and Roger McNeilly had 5.20 to claim a close third. This week, the oldtimers will fish Lake Wylie from 8am til 2 pm.
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club fished Lake Wateree last Saturday. As has seemed to be the norm, fall comes in and Roger Beaver kicks BASS. Beaver brought in 18.34 and took the win. He also had big bass of the event with a 4.46 largemouth. Chuck Camp had 10.22 and was second with John Rankin in third with 9.50. John Presnell had 8.48 and was fourth and rounding out the top five was Ray Hembree with 7.18. December will end the points for the CCBC and they will be on Lake Norman, a date has yet to be decided.
Bass Casters
The Bass Casters will invade Stumpy Pond this weekend and unless the weather messes things up or the fish have too much Thanksgiving food between now and then. I expect great catches. Can you tell this is my favorite lake ?
If anyone has any suggestions on stories or pictures of their catch or kill, you can e-mail me at plail5@carolina.rr.com. TITLE THE E-MAIL STORY OR PICTURE “FOR SHOPPER” OR I WILL ASSUME IT’S JUNK MAIL AND NOT OPEN IT.
