Mr. Bruce Carl Lauer, 68, of 1210 Johnson Drive, Cherryville, NC, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010. Services were held at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel, NC. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Lauer was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Norlene Wheaton Lauer; and his father, Edsel Lauer.
He is survived by his mother, Edith Bruce Lauer of Denver; 1 son, Shawn Lauer and wife Brenda of Cherryville; 2 daughters, Dawn Anderson and husband Warren of Denver, and Heidi Huffman and husband Scott of Cherryville; 7 grandchildren; and 1 sister, Bonnie Lauer of California.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home, Cherryville, NC is serving the family.
