Bruna Justice Richards, 100, of 1048 Casar-Lawndale Road, Lawndale, passed
away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the home of her daughter.
She was born in Cleveland County on September 18, 1913, to the late Thomas
Weldon Justice and Carrie Ann Newton Justice. She was a homemaker and a
lifelong member of Kistler's United Methodist Church and the United
Methodist Women.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William
Ralph Richards; brother, Joe Justice and five sisters, Dessie J. Richards,
Minnie J. Garver, Vada J. Garver, Thomas J. Willis and Adele Justice.
She is survived by three daughters, Ann R. Pendleton and husband Dale of
Morganton; Patsy R. Farley of Lawndale; and Pamela R. Sailors and husband,
Roger of Terrell; eight grandchildren, Rae Pendleton and wife Donna; Libby
Pendleton Wright and husband Carson, Crystal Pendleton, Camellia Ann
Pendleton, Eric Farley and Chandelle Ellis, Christopher Sailors and Lacie
Jones, Rodney Sailors and wife Lauren, Tamela Sailors Mosteller and husband
Jamie; thirteen great grandchildren, Michael Pendleton and wife Beth, Jason
Pendleton and Lisa, Dillon Wright, Casey Wright, Layla Russ and William
Burns, Jeremiah Pendleton and Hannah Mashburn, Deric Farley, Madelyn
Sailors, Brighton Sailors, Noah Sailors, Cooper Sailors, Abbigayl Mosteller,
Emma Karaline Mosteller; and four great great grandchildren, Maura
Pendleton, Mckenzie Pendleton, Marissa Pendleton, and Xavier Burns.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Kistler's
United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Condolences may be made online at

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at Kistler's United
Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Hiatt and Rev. Roger Sailors
officiating.
The burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.
