Kings Mountain - Mr. Bud Price, 81, of 631 Mary's Grove Church Road, passed
away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Hospice of Wendover in Shelby.

Mr. Price was born on May 19, 1934 in Rutherford County, NC a son of the
late Louil Price and Bertha Higgins Price. He was retired as a heavy
equipment operator and truck driver for Beam Grading of Cherryville. Mr.
Price also enjoyed woodworking.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary
Daniel Price and two sisters, Ruth Price and Evelyn Lyda.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Patsy Lovelace Price of the home;
three sons, Richard Price and fiancé, Donna Jones of Cherryville; Donny
Price and wife Teri of Shelby and Danny and wife Lisa of Mooresboro; two
daughters, Melissa Reese and husband, Freddie of Alabama and Wanda Scism and
husband Mike of Mt. Holly; a special grandson and caregiver, Patrick Harley
Price; four sisters, Hazel Thompson, Faye Vinson, Lucille Free and Carolyn
Abee all of Jonesville, SC; three brothers Fred Price of Cary; Gene Price of
Valdese and Lloyd Price of Little River, SC; also surviving are a number of
grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 1:45 to 2:45PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service with the Rev. Rick
Robertson officiating.

Burial will be private.
