Mrs. Carmelina Casandra White, 78, of 319 Mt. Sinai Church Road, Shelby, NC passed away Friday, December 10, 2010. Services were held at Shelby Seventh Day Adventist. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, Teofilo and Casandra Ocampo Waggon.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Hoover White of the home; 2 sons, Orin Aster White, and Elias White of Vale; 2 daughters, Betty White of Florida and Deborah White of Shelby; 3 sisters, Seferina, Ana and Armelina Waggon; 5 brothers, Ezra, Secondino, Holson, Robert and Chefflie Waggon; 15 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
